You might not read into it too closely, but in Sega’s latest press release for Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed it cites, ”will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo’s Wii U, and Windows PC Digital Download this November.’

So does that mean November really is when the Wii U is coming out? Possibly. If you take a look back into gaming’s history you’ll notice a trend, one where consoles are generally released in the month prior to Christmas. More credence is given when you consider November is generally where a lot of AAA titles are released, usually one or two each week.

The press release also confirms that the title character for Disney’s upcoming video game homage film, Wreck-It Ralph, will be featured as a playable character in Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed.

With so many rumours actually flying around about the release date it’s really just speculative, but given the amount of evidence to support the claim, well, it’s most likely than not.
